Electronic design automation

Electronic design automation helps engineers design semiconductor chips more efficiently. These tools help design integrated circuits by automating steps that would normally be done manually to connect the pieces of the chips together and by simulating designs to ensure they will work properly. An example of research conducted in this area at ASU is the development of a new method for automating the design of power converters.
