This is your window to specify required software versions and ensure a smooth start. <a href=\"https:\/\/links.asu.edu\/etsclassroomsupport\">Submit your request through the ETS Classroom Support portal<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FSE Cloud Classroom: Software Access Without the Lab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>FSE Cloud Classroom\u2014powered by Apporto\u2014lets students run course-required software right from a web browser. No lab visit required. Whether on Mac or Windows, students can access a full suite of engineering tools from anywhere. <a href=\"https:\/\/prod-pitchfork.fsewp.asu.edu\/ets\/fse-cloud-classroom\/faculty-guide\/\">Set up FSE Cloud for your course<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Need a Way to Share Where You&#8217;re Working?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that TAS is gone, there\u2019s less visibility into who\u2019s remote or in-office. If your team relies on that info, check out the Work Hours and Location setting in Outlook and Teams\u2014it\u2019s a simple way to keep everyone aligned. <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/office\/set-your-work-hours-and-location-in-outlook-af2fddf9-249e-4710-9c95-5911edfd76f6\">How to set your location<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Connect. Collaborate. Contribute.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>FSE\u2019s Technology Communities of Practice have been up and running for a few months, and there\u2019s still plenty of opportunity to join in. These groups\u2014focused on <strong>AI for Technologists<\/strong>, <strong>Cybersecurity<\/strong>, and <strong>Airtable Development<\/strong>\u2014bring tech-minded peers together to explore, share, and solve challenges. <a href=\"https:\/\/prod-pitchfork.fsewp.asu.edu\/ets\/communities-of-practice\/\">Learn more and get involved<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CrowdStrike Protection Resumes after July 2024 Incident<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The CrowdStrike update that caused global disruptions last July has been resolved. FSE has resumed deployment across systems in alignment with university standards. The installation is quick and helps keep your device secure\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/prod-pitchfork.fsewp.asu.edu\/ets\/2024\/08\/crowdstrike-outage-how-ets-responded-and-recovered\/\">more on how ETS responded<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your device handles sensitive data, contact your Deskside IT team to request a CrowdStrike exemption.
