Integrated circuits

Integrated circuits combine many individual circuits onto a single chip that can be programmed for a needed purpose. You might also know them as computer chips or microchips. Integrated circuits are an essential part of modern electronics and electrical devices and are used for a variety of functions. Examples of research conducted at ASU in this area include making radiation-hardened chips more efficient and adding built-in testing to detect problems with chips.
