Electromagnetics and microwaves

Electromagnetics and microwaves power much of modern communications technology that uses radio frequency, including cell phones. The field also includes fiber optics, antennas, lasers and more. This field of research focuses on exploring new technology for this field. Examples of research conducted in this field at ASU include developing next-generation wireless technologies and using microwaves to improve imaging technology.
