About the program
FIRST® LEGO® League Discover is one of three divisions by age group of the FIRST® LEGO® League program and serves children ages 4–6. This program inspires young people to experiment and grow their confidence, critical thinking and design skills through hands-on learning.
FLL Discover is a playful introductory STEM program for children that ignites their natural curiosity and builds their habits of learning with hands-on activities in the classroom and family engagement activities to extend learning at home using LEGO® DUPLO® bricks.
LEGO® Education Discovery Set
A new and exciting challenge is presented every year, and each team of four children begins their exploration of this real-world theme with an exclusive LEGO® Education Discovery Set.

In this archaeology-themed robotics season, engage your students in STEM hands-on learning and empower them to connect with real-life issues and develop important skills, including:

Getting started
With this set as a starting point, children build a solution to the challenge with LEGO® DUPLO® elements. Teams share their journey, ideas, models, and STEM skills at a celebration event.
Throughout their experience, teams operate under the FIRST® core values, celebrating discovery and teamwork, all while having fun!
Class packs
FIRST® Class Packs provide implementation options for grades PreK-1 classrooms and structured after-school programs. FIRST® Class Pack resources prepare educators and facilitators to guide their students as they begin or continue a journey of STEM exploration using real-world scenarios and challenges. Immerse students in research, problem-solving, coding and engineering using a curriculum that will engage them in a range of rigorous and relevant learning opportunities. Students will develop an innovative solution to a real-world problem, and design, build and code a LEGO® robot to solve themed challenge missions.
